This poor dog came to our house looking lost and dehydrated.

We gave it water and since then he does not want to leave.

He is very timid and a bit scared, and quiet.

He has flees, skin rashes, and is very skinny, and a bend in his hip, maybe accident, it looks he has been abandoned or basly treated or on the street for a while.

We gave him shelter and food in our yard saturday and Sunday to help.

We can't really keep a dog and are looking at possibilites for rescue.

Hi there, my name is Gaga. I am one of the four puppies who were rescued off Lorong Halus. Out of the four sisters, I am the shyest. Sometimes, I’ll get bullied by Lady and Poker. It got so bad that the humans had to house us in separate kennels so that I wouldn’t have to live in trepidation. That’s a shelter dog’s life for you.

I always hear talk of a home. Being born in the forests of Lorong Halus and brought straight to the shelter, I’ve never known what a home is. My other furry friends speak of it as something magical. But the truth is... I have no clue what a home means. What I do know is that there are so many dogs at the shelter all pining for attention and not enough humans to love them.

I’m shy but that doesn’t mean I deserve any less love. If you get to know me personally, I’m more than that shy black dog peering out from the other side of the fence. Please think of me when you’re considering adoption. I promise I’ll be good.

My name is Dakdakdei or DDD for short.

Now don’t you go turning your nose up at my name. I would have you know that it has authentic Cantonese origins. One of the humans named me after her favourite Hong Kong drama character and the name stuck. It’s a long name and some of the other humans have resorted to calling me Dada which I reluctantly accept.

They say I look like Scooby Doo but I say that I’m way smarter. I can jump over obstacles, sit, eat and lie down on command. I used to be very easily excitable, but I went for obedience lessons and some of the humans at the shelter have been teaching me tricks.

Like my brothers Daelle and Dillon, I was born at the shelter and adopted out as well. Sadly, I was returned to the shelter because they said I bullied the house cat. I was only a puppy. How was I to know the cat didn’t want to play?

Because I was the first to be adopted, my mama Debbie no longer recognised me on my return to the shelter. You should have heard me howling my lungs away on my first few nights here. I was devastated and I missed my home. I pined and yearned and longed, but as days turned to weeks, it began to strike me that my humans were never ever going to come back for me.

I am an active dog and would require one to two walks a day. If you are active, like I am, and you wish for a companion, I am willing to pledge my lifelong loyalty and all the doggie love in the world. All I need is a chance from you.

[rehomed!] ADOPT: Monmon - well-tempered 6mo female mongrel pup

We found 3 mongrel puppies yesterday (4 June 2011) playing in the middle of the road There were originally 6 of them but we only managed to save 5. Most of the pet shelters are at full capacity hence we could not house them there. Have already brought them to the vet at Indus Road to be dewormed and defleaed.

2 of the puppies have already been adopted but we have 3 puppies left - a male and two females. The vet said the puppies are about 1.5 months old.

She was found in a box with 3 other siblings near a coffee shop when she was about 6 weeks old. I can't keep her anymore as she I have got other dogs.

I gave her to a friend who owns a factory and put her there for about 3 months.

When I visited her, she has turned to be fearful of men and became seclusive. She has gone missing for 3 days when she was on heat. Her ears were bitten and private part was bruised.
I cannot imagine that she was the home pet I'd raised since puppy and what has became of her ?

As it broke my heart, I brought her back again. She is adapting well. I will be bringing her for sterilisation. Hopefully she can find someone who can love her unconditionally.

SPONSOR/ADOPT: sweet, timid, mild-tempered 3yo Girl Girl

This is Girl Girl and her litter of young puppies. She is about 3 years old and was brought up and cared for by an old uncle at a factory. However the new owner had evicted him when the factory was taken over. Girl Girl was left behind and she stayed at the factory--the only home she had ever known.

The new owner has no compassion for the dogs that were left behind. Workers have been seen trying to bash them with sticks. Girl Girl and the others struggled to survive on leftovers; they came out of hiding only at nightfall to feed.

Life as a rejected and despised street dog is very hard. For Girl Girl, it took a harder turn when she gave birth to a litter of 9 puppies during the first week of September and was chased out of the factory by the workers. She didn’t dare return to her newborn babies until the next day, only to find 3 girls and 2 boys are left.

4 of her babies were dead.

These poor little innocent souls…would never survive under such cruel conditions. Our teammates did what they could and pulled out this poor family before any fatal abuse is inflicted upon them.

Your support is needed for this family. They need contributions for:
- Food
- Sterilization
And most importantly, GIVE THEM FOREVER HOMES!!

Unfortunately due to constraints, the current fosterer is only able to help provide refuge for Girl Girl till her babies are weaned. It will be heartbreaking if she is unable to find a good home by then...where can she go?
