ADOPT: Gangster, healthy, fun-loving 6yo black/white shih tzu

I am currently undertaking my masters full time, and have a 4 year old daughter, and am considering getting a guide dog to help make my travels safe—like Lily, I too am blind.

I have 3 shiht'szus and it’s a painful realization that I can no-longer manage to take care of all of them and still transit into motherhood and getting a guide dog too.

I would like help in rehoming my 2 black & white shihtszu boys:

Gangster, 6 years old

They are sterilized, micro chipped, paper trained—(most of the times you know how dogs are), healthy and fun-loving x-show dogs.

FOSTER/ADOPT: Amber the mother cat

Earlier this evening, my boyfriend's family found 1 mother cat and 4 kittens hidden in an old box that's stashed behind their living room couch. They're unable to keep them and are housing the family of 5 till suitable adopters are found.

There is 1 mother cat and 4 kittens up for adoption in total: 3 black & white and 2 tabby as shown in the photo. Genders are not confirmed yet as the kittens are only a few days old and are really fresh from the oven.

Adopters must fulfill the following criteria:
1. have a real love for cats and not just cos they're cute and furry
2. preferably have experience in owning/keeping a cat
3. provide a copy of IC, valid living address and contact number, if adoption is successful
4. to vaccinate and immunise the kittens upon adoption
5. to sterilise the kittens once they are 6 months old
5. to vaccinate, immunise and sterilise the mother cat upon adoption

*Update as at 2306hrs 30/8: I've checked the gender of the kittens and there are 3 boys and 1 girl.

**1. Update as at 5 Sep: Amber (the mother cat) has been successfully litter trained! All 4 kittens have also opened their eyes.

2. Update as at 8 Sep: My friends are unable to foster the family of 5 any longer. I am seeking for other foster homes that are willing to take them in temporarily till the kittens are old enough to be independent of their mother. Unfortunately, I've still been unable to find a suitable foster home for the cats and will need to resort to either housing them at a boarding home or at worst, to release them back onto the streets.

As a last resort, I'm seeking donations to help fund the boarding home stay, which will amount to $400/month for all 5 of them.

I'm also gathering funds to help vaccinate/sterilise/deworm the kittens/mother who do not get adopted once they have weaned off their mother. I'm unable to undertake these extra costs upon myself as I am also funding their daily requirements. Do contact me if you would like to help.

Thanks!

[rehomed!] ADOPT: Pippy the 7mo singapore girl

My father and I have been taking care of Fei Fei and kids (Bucket, Jing Jing and Pippy) for months already. One of Fei Fei's Pups (Bucket) had an Maggots infestation on his neck and he's the smallest in the pack.

My dad and I sent Fei fei and the pups to the vet, and they flushed out all the maggots from Bucket. Fei Fei had an Maggot infestation as well, at her anus area. This is because they were staying in the Field, grass area and they are prone to getting cut and wounds and this attracts files.

Dad and I have shifted Fei Fei from the Grass to a sheltered factory that is currently unoccupied and over there there are around 6 adult dogs staying there too. We will clean up the area and perhaps get a pest control to fumigate the area and make it more conducive for them to stay. And we have used frontline for the dogs there to stop the ticks from attacking them.

In the Long Run, we will be sending Fei Fei and her Daughters for spaying and ASD will be supporting us in this. Meanwhile the pups are about 5-6 weeks old and I am looking into actively looking for a home for Pups and Fei Fei. We would like to provide Fei Fei and Kids and the rest of them with at least a conducive shelter and buy time for them while we find them a permanent home.

[rehomed!] FOSTER/ADOPT: Lucky Girl - 2yo husky

While most of us simply walk or drive by areas which look too secluded and awful to enter, life often lurks in these areas. A recent rescue of two huskies highlight the plight of pedigree dogs dumped as they were part of unwanted breeding litters. These dogs were left behind to suffer in the heat, without food and water in an area where other strays roam. They were rescued and were found to be extremely skinny and young.

The two huskies are small sized for Huskies. Johnny (right) had an awful maggot wound on its hind leg. He is recovering well. Lucky Girl (left) has been sterilized and vaccinated. Johnny will be sterilized and vaccinated once his wound heals up. These two huskies seem to know no sorrow. They are very obedient and bubbly. The boy is shy but enjoys hugs while the girl is a gentle beauty. Lucky girl loves to hug by clinging onto the waist of her favorite people. They get along well and love human company. They also love their meals at Pets Villa and treasure the food they are given.

Lucky Girl and Johnny need to be fostered/adopted together as they are very attached to each other.

Adopter will also need to spend time and effort on helping with their skin and treatment for Johnny's wound(Getting better already).

Lucky Girl and Johnny have so much love, loyalty and companionship to offer in return.
