[rehomed!] ADOPT: affectionate orange/white male cat
I would like to appeal for genuine adopter for this orange and white male cat that i have been feeding for the past few months and currently nursing him back to health from flu.
First spotted his appearance around Oct last year and was quite wary initially. After months of feeding he started to trust me and i trapped him for sterilisation.
Sent him to the vet sometime last week when notice he was coughing away and rejected food. Was down with flu and have been with me since then to complete his medication. Vet estimated that he's around 2-3yrs old.
As his course of antibiotic is coming to an end, i seriously hope that someone can adopt him because he is a very affectionate cat and it will be unsafe for me to release him to where he was because during his stay with me, 2 other community cats at the same place suddenly went missing.
I seriously couldn't keep him for long as it is really stress for both of us. Me being a wheelchair-bound person with muscular dystrophy, it is really taking a toll on me physically looking after him, and i also don't know how long i can look after him. As for him, rather stress to be cage up most of the time.
Regarding toilet train or not, as i always bring him into the toilet in the carrier and let him out to relieve himself, i won't really dare to say he is 100% toilet train. But once or twice i let him out to roam in the house, he went into the toilet on his own and even uses the doggy litter tray.
As for food, i use to just feed him wet food when he was still living downstairs but started giving him both wet and dry during his recuperation at my place.
Of course what i want for him is a real home with owner that is genuinely caring and loving him like a family member and taking care of him till the end.
