[rehomed!] FOSTER/ADOPT: Bambi - sweet, angelic, delicate, wobbly female kitten

Animal's name: Bambi
Age: 3 months
Gender: Female
Breed: Local shorthair

Vaccinated: No
Sterilised: No

Health condition?
This severely emaciated kitten was found on New Year's Eve, struggling
to stand up on a pavement in Shenton Way. I took it home for feeding
and cleaning, and over two days it has become stronger, although still
skinny. Today, the vet diagnosed it with Cerebellar Hypoplasia and we
have hospitalised it in the care The Animal Doctors at Ang Mo Kio
(http://www.theanimaldoctors.com.sg ).

Cerebellar Hypoplasia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cerebellar_hypoplasia_(non-human) is a
little fault in the brain which causes her to have uncoordinated
limbs, motor skills and an undeveloped sense of balance. Cats with
Cerebellar Hypoplasia can lead normal lives. They are as intelligent,
sweet-natured and clean as the next cat - they just can't coordinate
their movements too well. See:

Physical description? This tabby kitten has extra long limbs and walks
like the newborn Bambi, delicate and wobbly.

Personality/temperament? Purrs upon contact. This kitten is as sweet
as an angel and will lie quietly in your lap for hours, watching the
world go by. She goes into spasms of delight when you scratch her
neck, and adores being spoken to.

Toilet trained? Yes, but as her movements are awkward, she might not
be able to reach the litter tray in time.
Understands basic commands? No
Good with other pets? Not sure
Good with children? Not sure

Why is it being put up for fostering/adoption?
I own a tomcat who has been aggressive towards this kitten in the
house. Because of her condition, she cannot live outside. None of the
shelters I have called up have space for more animals. If I cannot
find an adopter or a fosterer by 9 Jan 2010, I will have to put her to
sleep at the vet as she has nowhere else to go.

Where is it now? The Animal Doctors in Ang Mo Kio Ave 4
How long can the current fosterer keep it for? One week

Other comments: I will take responsibility for her vaccination,
deworming and sterilisation bills, and pray that a kind soul can find
space in their heart and home for her.
