[Originally posted on Cat Welfare Society, 24 Dec 2009. Still looking for homes as of 31 Jan 2010.]
A lady is down with cancer and is now in the hospital. She has 13 cats and lives in a rented flat near Clementi. The lady is diagnosed with lung and breast cancer. She is said to have collapsed and sent to the hospital.
Her daughter, a single mum, is unable to cope and wants to send these cats to the SPCA. Luckily, Fareena gets to know of this and urges her to re-home some of these cats. The daughter is reluctant but Fareena manages to persuade her to give us 2-week to find a home for them.
Update 31 Jan 2010
Only one has been rehomed successfully. The owners has agreed to keep 7. So now only 5 more to go. They are still in Clementi.
As time is pressing, please spread the word. Contact fareena@catwelfare.org. Thank you.
