Squee's fosterer has decided to keep him!
Animal's name: Mummy
Age: Estimated to be about 2
Gender: Female
Breed: Local
Vaccinated? No.
Sterilised? Yes.
Health condition? She is currently suffering from some urinary tract infection and is on antibiotics. Once she is fine, we will get her vaccinated.
Physical description? White and brown, looks like a gigantic Jack Russell.
Personality/temperament? Very sweet and undemanding.
Why is it being put up for fostering/adoption? We just rescued her from AVA last fri, 17 Dec 10. She was supposed to be put down on the same day but fortunately her rescuers managed to find her a temporary fosterer and chipped in a sum of $500plus to claim her from AVA. But sadly, her children were already killed by AVA. The fosterer is staying alone and is seldom home due to her busy schedule. Therefore we need to look for a permanent home for her. She is all alone now so we really wish to get her a good loving home.
Where is it now? With a temporary fosterer.
How long can the current fosterer keep it for?One month.
Other comments: She is very very good with human beings and walks well on leash, may need time to warm up to other dogs.

Name : Simon & Daniel
Sex : Males
Age : 6 weeks old (will be medium sized when fully grown)
Breed : Local
* Not HDB Approved
Simon (left) & Daniel (right) were rescued in Kranji Industrial Estate on 26th January 2011. They were hiding underneath a forklift truck just inches away from being squashed if the driver had not noticed them. They are typical puppies: lively, cuddly and very playful. They have a great appetite for affection and food (not necessarily in that order!) They sleep through the night and obey simple commands such as “come here!” They are learning quickly to use newspaper as their toilet and do the “necessary” whenever they are taken out into the garden.
Simon and Daniel are “Singapore Specials”, about six weeks old and they have been given a positive health check by our vet. They have been micro-chipped and will be ready to be vaccinated in about two week’s time. They will grow up to be medium sized dogs with glossy black (Simon) and chocolate (Daniel) coats. Both of them have beautiful blue eyes!
We would love to keep Simon and Daniel, but we already have our quota of dogs and have reached the “legal limit” on the number of dogs allowed in one household.
It would be good if Simon and Daniel could stay together. But they will be just as happy to have two separate homes to call their own.

I am looking for my JRT dogs, BoBo & Noh Noh - Mom & son pair, my mom gave them to her Godma when I was sent to Australia to study and nobody was at home to take care of them as everybody else had work/school from 6am to 6pm-10pm. It was not fair to keep them at home for 12hrs daily, I was the main caregiver for my dogs.
We trusted my mom's Godma enough as she was experienced dog owner and her dogs had passed away and she was living in a lovely terrace with a big nice yard for both of them.
Unknowningly, 1 year later her daughter called the SPCA to pick them up without trying to contact us or letting us know even though my mom visited at least once a month, if not weekly after church.
My mother only learnt about it after a long day from work and immediately the next day she contacted the SPCA.
They just asked her to keep checking their site if our dogs were back up for adoption and we would be able to adopt them back.
However, my mom never saw them put up online, in some small corner of our minds, we hoped that they would have been adopted even before they were put up on the site.
Would just like to know if they are still alive somewhere or they have been put down so as to have some closure and possibly mend my mom and her godma's relationship.
I will not try to intrude on their current owner's privacy, I just want to know if they were adopted or put down as per SPCA policy.
BoBo - was approx 6y.o in 2006 - now is probably 11 if she lives so long*
slightly plump , smaller built - 10kg
2 inch tail - white
Vaccinated & Sterilised & Microchip
NohNoh - was a Christmas baby, 2 years in 2006 - is now 6+y.o.
fit young dog - 10kg
stubby tail - brown pattern covered it
Vaccinated & Sterlised & Microchip
Both extremely friendly to strangers in house.
Both were originally adopted from an accidental breeding incident from a friend of a friend.
Thank you for your time.
If you think you have adopted them, it would be nice if you could drop me a note at kellychp88@gmail.com

Origin: Pedigree Breed from Australia.
Color: Golden Brown.
Good things about Becks:
• Toilet Trained.
• Obedient - Easily trained.
• Loyal, Friendly, Active , Bubbly and Alert.
• Make a good family pet
• Enjoyed being loved and cuddled
• Not fussy with his diet – Dry food /Plain Bread are his favourite – Sometimes
a treat of boiled potato / carrot with Rice will be his bonus.
Truly from our heart, we can’t bear to leave Becks. He is well loved and loyal without fail.
He has bring a lot of Joy and laughter to the family but we have no other alternative as we shifting to a much smaller unit that’s unable to accommodate him anymore. He needs a bigger roaming living space in order to stay healthy and bubbly.
In view of this, we have no choice but in the hope to find him a good family whom someone to adopt Becks and shower him with love.
He will give you the same kind love in return.
It is a painful decision for us too but we sincerely hope there are kind soul out there whom willing to adopt Becks and give him a home.

This email is an appeal to those who might considering adopting a cat, much in need of a good and loving home.
As some of you may know, I have been living in the Dakota Crescent neighbourhood for the past three years and have been looking after quite a few cats.
Now that I am moving out at the end of the month and am limited by the number of cats I can bring with me, I do so hope some of the 4 cats that are featured in this email can be rehomed.
They are real darlings; highly intelligent, cultured; and all of them have been neutered.
i) LUDWIG CARROT
- Ginger male cat, about 3 years old.

- Does endearing things like in carrot 3. jpg
- Named after Austrian philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein.
ii) CHARLES MILA
- Ginger-white male cat, about 9 months old.
- Still a bit frisky, has a lovable short tail that twitches.
- Exhibits dog-like personna; most loyal of the lot.
- Non-fussy eater.
- Named after 11th century Tibetan Buddhist saint, Milarepa
iii) RIGPA DAKOTA
- Ash with ochre specks, female cat, about 14 months old.
- Most Gentle-natured.
- Has a hearty appetite.
- Great climber.
- Named after Tibetan word which represents "awareness" or "innermost nature of the mind" ( though admittedly she is not always in this elevated state of being.)

- Shy, loves to chill by herself, but will accept the occassional cuddle.
- Has beautiful sapphire blue eyes.

Health condition?
This severely emaciated kitten was found on New Year's Eve, struggling
to stand up on a pavement in Shenton Way. I took it home for feeding
and cleaning, and over two days it has become stronger, although still
skinny. Today, the vet diagnosed it with Cerebellar Hypoplasia and we
have hospitalised it in the care The Animal Doctors at Ang Mo Kio
(http://www.theanimaldoctors.com.sg ).
Cerebellar Hypoplasia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cerebellar_hypoplasia_(non-human) is a
little fault in the brain which causes her to have uncoordinated
limbs, motor skills and an undeveloped sense of balance. Cats with
Cerebellar Hypoplasia can lead normal lives. They are as intelligent,
sweet-natured and clean as the next cat - they just can't coordinate
their movements too well. See:
Physical description? This tabby kitten has extra long limbs and walks
like the newborn Bambi, delicate and wobbly.
Personality/temperament? Purrs upon contact. This kitten is as sweet
as an angel and will lie quietly in your lap for hours, watching the
world go by. She goes into spasms of delight when you scratch her
neck, and adores being spoken to.
Toilet trained? Yes, but as her movements are awkward, she might not
be able to reach the litter tray in time.
Understands basic commands? No
Good with other pets? Not sure
Good with children? Not sure
Why is it being put up for fostering/adoption?
I own a tomcat who has been aggressive towards this kitten in the
house. Because of her condition, she cannot live outside. None of the
shelters I have called up have space for more animals. If I cannot
find an adopter or a fosterer by 9 Jan 2010, I will have to put her to
sleep at the vet as she has nowhere else to go.
Where is it now? The Animal Doctors in Ang Mo Kio Ave 4
How long can the current fosterer keep it for? One week
Other comments: I will take responsibility for her vaccination,
deworming and sterilisation bills, and pray that a kind soul can find
space in their heart and home for her.

She is in good health except for some skin problems due to excessive scratching and also this eye defect called cherry eye. Cherry eye can be surgically removed.
She is also good with other dogs. Very human friendly and playful. Not paper trained; not sterilised. HDB approved.
I'm working very hard on her to be paper trained. So far 50% success rate. Hope by the time she finds a good hm, she'll be ok.
Her ears condition is getting a lot better. Got her a 'ears flushing' treatment frm groomer, and... I have been cleaning and applying medication on her ears. So far no more smell.
Her skin condition are ok. Fur shaved short so no more shedding.
She is a lovely gal. Very attached to human. Follow me everywhere I go. Juz like my shadow. :)
Btw, I named her Joyjoy juz to cut all the confusion if names she had.
And groomer said she is likely to be a Pom X JRT. Super active.
Miniature Schnauzer (Pepper) up for adoption. She is 3 years old, gentle and good with people. Pepper is sterilized and paper trained.
She is also active, playful and enjoys her walks a few times a week. She is lookinh for a loving family who can give her more attention.

These are only 2 out of the 14 puppies that their mom gave birth in a workshop. We've successfully took 6 of them out and 8 more still in the workshop.
Borned on 1st Jan 2011, and the owner of the workshop threatened to send them to SPCA (most prolly pts) once the puppies start to walk around. They've just opened their eyes, can't really walk yet. We have 2 more females in brown and 6 more males in brown too.
Though they're mongrels but they definitely deserve a home like any other puppies. The owner of the workshop has already called AVA twice and I believe he'll do so again in a week's time when the puppies start to move around. Please spread the word. Fosterers are welcome but are to agree to keeping them till an adopter comes forth.
Sincere adopters only. These puppies will grow up into medium size and are NON-HDB approved. If you're suitable, I will then pass you the contact no. of the person who will later bring you in to view the pups as I want to minimise her inconvenience as she's working.
ADOPTERS ARE TO VACCINATE, MICROCHIP AND STERILIZE THE DOG.
I have rescue a puppy from a hit and run case.Anyway she has recover and she is doing very well.
Fuji the mongrel puppy was found on PIE near Eng Neo a week ago, she was knocked over by a car and was send in by my friend who was behind that car. The vet said she suffered minor fracture on the jaw and dislocated her right shoulder.
She is now taken care by my friend and is ready for adoption.
She is around 3mths old and has fade brown markings on the forehead and a small patch on the body. She is a quiet girl who will stay in the kitchen without supervision. She is ok with both dogs and humans and shown no signs of aggression. She is presently on kibbles and milk.
Follow-up to the vet will be 3 puppy vaccinations.
**Adopter must sterilize, microchip and license. And last but not least a token from the adopter is require to donate to mdm wong shelter.regardless of any amount.Be it $50 or even $20.
