Age: ??? Has some whitish brows typical of aging dogs, though.

When and where was it lost/found/seen: I only saw it in the early evening, about 6pm today but got a text later from a friend who said she saw it wandering around the MRT station. Wasn't sure if it had a owner then because sometimes there are people who walk their dogs unleashed. As a resident in the area I have never seen this dog before.

Other comments: Photos of her attached. I've fed her and given her water. She took the treats first then sniffed around before slowly eating the kibbles so I suspect she hasn't be out on her own for long. Is slightly timid but very friendly. She stayed near the playground area because there were many people there. She also seems sociable with other dogs. Went down to look for her again, she is gone but I believe she may come back again. Will update. She has quite a foul smell (not typical doggy) and has what seems like tar streaks on her (construction nearby). Other than that she is active and looks uninjured.

Santa's Little Helper was found abandoned on Labour Day 2009 at the void deck of their flat, scrounging hungrily for food. He is about a year old old, and has been spayed and microchipped.

Santa is a handsome fellow with big standing ears, long tail and a totally black, very shiny coat. He is a lively active curious male local breed puppy and is extremely intelligent. He barks when he needs to go downstairs to do his business. He responds well to training and knows how to sit and shake hands on command. In fact, he now shakes hand automatically when he sits.

He loves long walks, and despite his size (12kg), he'll try to climb on my lap for hugs and pats. He needs someone with lots of love and patience.

Do you have a loving home for Santa? He'd love a garden to run around in. He's in a shelter now and waiting to go to Noah's Ark, but would gladly go to a good home here.

[rehomed!] SOS! ADOPT: Socks - lovely, playful, super-friendly 6mo cat

Hi, this is “Socks”, a cat in my condo in Jurong East.

She needs a home badly. This condo management is very rude to animals. My voice does not make any difference as I am renting a unit here.

Please help me find a suitable home for Socks. She is not safe here. She is a wonderful soul always seeking company to play.

Currently few families like Socks, but majority hates them. I am feeding her regularly right now.

My friend Samantha has put a collar around her neck thinking if management finds her they will feel this is some of the resident’s cat. But I know this hide-n-seek cannot continue for long. Her life is precious.

Socks is super friendly, nearly 6 months old, very playful. She is lovely. She is sterilised. She always wants to play with me, runs around whenever she sees me. She follows me till the lift lobby, every night I have to dodge her while coming back. This is emotionally very difficult.

[rehomed!] ADOPT: big, handsome male golden retriever w white muzzle (eunos)

This golden retriever was found by a lady near Eunos. She placed him with a neighbour, but the neighbour wanted to send him to SPCA.

I took him in last night. Friendly with dogs and humans. His muzzle is all white, probably not young.
He is very well fed and in good condition. I will bring him for a microchip scan once i can take time off work. In the mean time, can you help me spread the words about him?
I hope there is an anxious owner out there waiting for him to be back.

Attached are his photos. big and handsome. Apologies not much details about him, as i couldn't really communicate with his rescuer, who is from China.

Found her when she was about 2 weeks old in an open field.Has done all tests and has been cleared of all illnesses and has been steralised. Due to the hot weather,she has a skin problem which is already improving.Mainly at her chest area

Neighbours are threatening to complain to AVA about her if i continue to keep her and i am really desperate that someone would adopt her or help to rehome her as i do not want her to be put to sleep.

Other comments:

Found a female Golden retriever at Block 34 Cassia Crescent Coffeeshop. No collar. She's rather small sized for a golden retriever. She's toilet trained (grass), can walk off leash (responds to your calls when walking), basic commands like sit and shake hand, friendly, people oriented (won the hearts of the kopitiam uncles!), good temperament, still playful (will run when you call, follow you around, play with other dogs), aging dog though. Beautiful rich golden brown coat. Nails are short. Hv not brought to vet. Health seems ok upon visual inspection.

Dog has been placed at SPCA this morning (6/6/11). SPCA will hold her for Two days before deciding whether to put her to sleep or set up for adoption. I personally think the former is more possible. She cried/whimpered when I left her at SPCA this morning.

[rehomed!] SOS! ADOPT IN 2 WEEKS: Poppy - very friendly, gentle, lovable 4yo female golden retriever, good with dogs, doesn't bark

Name: Poppy
Breed: Golden Retriever
Gender: Female
Age: 4 years old
Weight: ~30kg, medium sized

Health: Tick problem due to owner negligence but I have applied frontline and will send for grooming to shave fur and remove ticks once new owner is found. No other issues that I know of. But best to send to the vet for a checkup.

Vaccines: No idea on this. Most probably had her initial 3 done as a puppy but not the yearly ones after.

Microchipped: No idea on this.

Temperament:
1. Very very friendly, gentle and lovable dog
2. Loves being cuddled and stroked
3. Perfectly fine with other dogs
4. Never barks
5. Knows simple tricks like sit, stay, paw etc

Excretion manners: Pees and poops during walks.

If a new owner isn't found within the next 2 weeks, dog will be sent to the SPCA and as we all know, probably put to sleep. So any loving families out there looking for an additional loving member, please consider Poppy.

Name: Rocky

Description : Male, small to medium size local cross that looks a bit like a miniature doberman but has a curly tail, unique short coat that is dark grey. Not sterlised as yet.

Health : Vaccination in progress, very healthy and growing well. Will be sterilised by the end of the year.

Others: He is trained to walk on the leash, and understands basic commands. He is toilet trained to do his business outdoors.

Temperament : he is very stable and affectionate towards humans. We will assist to guide whoever adopts him to settle him in his new home.

Some background:
My neighbours found him at a coffee shop in Sembawang park area and he followed them back. We took him in and foster him since June this year. He is estimated by the vet to be about 7-8mths old.

We already have 5 dogs at home and space is limited. There are no adoption fees but pls be genuine and must take care of Rocky as he is really special.

Rescued in middle of busy road on 080411 as a pregnant JRT (dued abt less than 2 weeks later). Most likely an abandoned dog.

Sent her for abortion as the (two) pups were most likely X with mongrels as JRTs usually have 4-10pups. Vet estimated her to be around 5yo, could be younger if she has been a stray for a period of time.

Sent her for the following on 140411:

Abortion, Sterilization, Dental Scaling, Heartworm Test & Microchipping. Adopter to only pay for her Spay + Microchip fees. Receipts will be shown.

We're urgently looking for adopters or fosterers as we cannot house her for long. Do consider giving this sweetie a forever home...
