[rehomed!] ADOPT: Crystal - badly abused, burnt female cat
I recently came across a cat that was badly abused. Someone threw something really hot on her and her lower back was all burnt.
Luckily for her, she was found by her regular stray feeders, who together with Zeus Communications ( a group of animal lovers) rushed her to the vet in the nick of time...before the infection get the better of her.
She has since been treated and is now recovering very well at Mount Pleasant (RedHill) Clinic. All the staff at the clinic have nothing but praises for this girl as she was really brave and cooperative throughout the whole procedure to treat her and to do the skin graft. The vet also mentioned that her wounds are healing well and in a few week's time, she will be back to her cute and beautiful self again.
I hope you can help this cat, even if by sharing this info with all your friends who may be interested to adopt one. Crystal is such a strong girl and really deserves a good shot at life in a nice home, away from nasty humans who do terrible things that really baffle.

Do you recall Crystal the scalded cat? She is now living the lifestyle of a Princess. I am sure that in her past life, Crystal was served by several slaves! She sleeps on a leather sofa with her four paws in the air and just imagine it - her slaves fanning her to keep her cool. Crystal has found her forever home with our volunteer Jeannie who adores and loves her very much.

ADOPT: Coco - 8yo male local cross dog thrown out and found in sad condition
These are some pics of Coco, who has a bad life.
My friend's mother-in-law threw him out in the remote corner of Lim chu kang but God was kind and my friend's prayer was answered. Found him in the saddest condition with torn soles and dehydrated, starved and injured.
The finding was a miracle. Now Yoga is being boarded - the environment is not good as he is 8 years old and most of the time was not even brought out to walk and forced to control urine and poo.
He is 8 years old now and we wish to find him a forever home where he can retire peacefully. We dont mind paying for the boarding as long as he gets love from a family and free to roam in the garden and not confined.
Can you please spread the appeal to grant this dog a home ?

[rehomed!] help Animal Lovers League help Faith the abused stray
We thought we’ve seen it all. Sadly, the cruelty never ends. Faith is one dog that has seen it all. ALL can no longer afford to house anymore animals. However, Faith truly needed our help. We had no heart to turn her down.
Faith is an extremely friendly stray that spent her time in the jungles sleeping and waiting for her next meal. She never fights back, never attacks and never bites. She was bullied by the strays that lived around her.
This was not the worst part of her ordeal. It was a man who would land her in the state she is currently in. A man was seen using a wooden stick to hit Faith repeatedly and later poke this stick into her anus. An elderly man gave chase when he saw this but could not catch up in time. Hence, this cruel man still remains at large.
Due to this cruel treatment, Faith became immobile due to her swollen leg and hurt muscles as well as bones. She was also unable to pass motion for days due to the pressure and pain.
Faith still continues to trust humans and was a dear at the vet. No struggle and no need for a muzzle. She simply let the vets and nurses do what they needed to.
Faith is now in cage rest and has finally pooed on her own with the aid of some pain killers. Faith truly has faith. She has not given up on mankind despite the state she is now in due to her friendliness and love for humans. Faith gives us the strength to go on as we want to see her strong and happy again.

[resolved!] ADOPT: Ginger - cheeky, intelligent, responsive, cheerful >9yo female jrt
Ginger is a female Jack Russell, exact age unknown but estimated by vet to be older than 9 years old. Her last vaccination was approximately one year ago, and she has been sterilised already. Ginger needs to be the only dog in the household because she is extremely unfriendly towards other dogs (in fact, this is the reason why we are giving her up after trying to make it work for one year). Ginger needs a firm owner who has lots of love to give.
She is very cheeky, very intelligent, very food oriented, and loves to sprint and bounce all over the place when she's in the mood for fun. She is very cheerful and sweet, and loves to snuggle and get rubbed down all over.
She is very responsive and we have brought her for basic obedience training, so she understands basic commands like heel, sit, down and stay (she graduated 2nd in her class, by the way). Ginger is easily toilet trained (she currently goes on newspaper in the toilet, but in our previous house, she was going on a pee-tray), but she only wants to do her business at home. She will not pee outside unless her bladder is really maxed out. She may be of an advanced age, but she is in the pink of health, super active, super alert and very frisky.
In the spirit of full disclosure, it must be made known that Ginger barks at strangers who loiter at the door (although she seems to recognize neighbours and doesn't bark at them). She sometimes barks if left alone at night separate from humans. She barks at certain household members (but only household members who are not firm with her) when they talk loudly or enter/exit the house.
Ginger does not run or jog. She sprints at home when excited, but she seems to have a very strict policy of only-brisk-walking when out and about. If she has a chance, she will ransack your bag/table for food, and rip up anything wrapped in paper/plastic in her endless quest for food.
We're not sure if she's good with children, but younger children aged 1 to 13 years have petted her before and we did not observe any objectional reaction from her.

ADOPT: Cute BoBo (male mongrel pups) is looking for a good home
These 2 delectable warm chocolately little puppies, a boy (Bobo) and a girl (BiBi) are pups rescued before a recent 'clean' round up. Four of their siblings are still out there. They are estimated to be less than 3 months old.
You will expect pups as young as these to be noisy, happy, excited and greedy. Sadly, not these babies. Since their arrival, they have not made much sounds, hiding behind doors and peering from 'neath the sofas and cabinets and treading with great care. They are fearful of humans, and who can blame them. BoBo and BiBi are testament to the cruelty and intolerance of mankind. This is the real realistic world for pups not born into pedigree or to families. We can only imagine the horrors their innocent eyes have seen and screams only their ears have heard.
But we are confident these too very lovely dogs will learn to adjust to normality given your love and care to shower on them and they will grow up to be magnificent companians.
Young BoBo and lovely BiBi have certainly gone through much in their short little lives, through no fault of them own, except the unfairness the world have thrust them in.
Can we help right the wrong? Give them a chance at life? A life that some of their siblings can never have because we didnt manage to save all. The pups do not need to be adopted together.
If you would like to adopt them, please let me know by emailing

They've found a new home (:
[rehomed!] ADOPT: Dixie - sweet, affectionate, mellow, smart, food-loving female tortoiseshell kitten rescued from bus stop
Here's Dixie, a tortoiseshell kitten for adoption. I rescued her yesterday at a bus stop which is pretty dangerous for her to be as there are lots of cars on the road.
She does not get along well with other cats except when she is sleeping or the other cats stay a distance away from her. With slow and patient introduction, I think that she will be able to get along with cats and dogs.
Even though she does not get along well with other cats and dogs, she gets along really well with humans. She is a really sweet kitten who loves to sleep on anything soft, like a pillow or on your lap. She can lay on my lap and fell asleep.
She is a mellow kitten who sleeps most of the time and love food. She will meow whenever she sees food. She is a bit skinny now and the new owner will need to fatten her up a bit. She is really affectionate and loves people to pet her. She loves feathery toys too.
She is really smart and knows how to use the litter-box on her first attempt. It is really great for me as I am worried that she might not know how to use it and will make a mess on the floor and my dad will surely scold me for that. Luckily for me, no mess on the floor throughout the first night.
She is currently staying at Guardian of pets (http://guardianofpets.blogspot.com/) as my dad does not allow me to keep her.
Thanks! I really hope that she can find a good home soon as she is a really sweet kitten who deserves to be loved and pampered. :)

[rehomed!] ADOPT: Dozer - abandoned, healthy 3yo male husky
Hiya,
My name is Dozer. I’m a male Siberian husky about 2-3 years old. My former owner let me out of his car at Kranji. I stood in the rain at the same spot faithfully waiting for him, thinking he would come back for me, but he never did.
A kind-hearted lady came to rescue me after the 2 horrid days and I heart-brokenly left with her.
The kind lady works in a clubhouse near Kranji and she provided me with food and temporary shelter till her manager wanted me to leave. Meanwhile, I had been to the vet and am found to be healthy (!)
- Tick fever and heartworm negative
- Blood test normal
- Kidney and liver functioning well
I am now at a shelter waiting for adoption. My rehomer told me I’ll need to sterilized soon.
I get along very well with my human and fellow four-legged friends. I’m hoping to find a new owner who has a firm hand and will send me for obedience training so that I can be more lovable.
While waiting for adoption, I would really love to have someone help to sponsor my current boarding. Anyone interested in helping or adopting me, please email to meltwn@hotmail.com. I would love to meet you and say hi and thank you.

SOS@SPCA! FOUND: m/c white female mixed breed, one brown ear, one spotty/brown, spotty belly, scar around neck (ngee ann poly/bukit timah)
Dog found near Ngee Ann Poly and then brought to Bukit Timah near Sixth Avenue.
Female, White mixed breed, on smaller side of medium. Has one brown ear and other ear is spotty and brown.
Spotty Underbelly.
Trained - knows Sit, Down, Paw and has that 'just shampooed' dog smell.
Non-alpha, non-aggressive. Will belly-up for you to pat.
Has choker chain on and is not injured. Has an old scar around neck.
Artists from the Art gallery next door found this dog off a woman who found it initially along Ngee Ann Polytechnic. The woman tied her belt to it to prevent it from escaping. The artists brought the dog back to our compound but couldn't keep it in the art gallery with the artworks. I checked the dog, fed it and brought it in from the rain last night.
This dog belongs to someone.
Please help post on pet forums and pass this on.
Dog is now at SPCA case ID 104707
Microchip is 702 039 390 015 465 but AVA says not registered with them.
Call SPCA shelter office at 62875355 ext 25 this is your dog.

FOSTER/ADOPT TOGETHER, IF POSSIBLE: affectinonate Mommy kitty + black baby kitty
We picked up two kittes on 6th Nov 2011. Mommy kitty + her (black) baby kitty. We're tryin' to get Mommy Kitty spayed but black kitty's too young to be spayed now...
at probably 2 months+ young? Oh and Mommy Kitty is VERY small for a mommy.
So if you love black cats, you may wish to adopt her or foster her for a few months till she's ready to be spayed too. Otherwise, Mom will have to release them both together after Mommy Kitty's spay because we already have 3 pups and 1 kitty of our own. Both of they're still very close to one another. If you've the space and heart for two cats, do consider them as Mommy Kitty's very gd and friendly with humans... baby's still very scared but will be okay in time to come.
It would really really be BEST if anyone can adopt them both together because Mother Cat is VERY affectionate to humans and makes a good indoor companion. It would be quite sad to separate them because they're very close. More pix here: http://mypawpals.blogspot.com/2011/11/mommy-kitty-baby-kitty.html
So if you wish to adopt/foster, please email us at hello@naturalpawpals.com .
Please note that it's not a first-come-first-serve basis and strict screening will be conducted on the family for the welfare of the cats. Cats are a 15-20 years commitment and should NEVER be adopted on impulse or for children. A contract would also be needed and adopters must agree to spay Baby Kitty once she reaches 6 months young and provide a copy of the sterialization cert to us and also not abandon them on the streets. We'd also like to keep in contact with the family on updates of the cat(s).
Thank you.
