Found a female Golden retriever at Block 34 Cassia Crescent Coffeeshop. No collar. She's rather small sized for a golden retriever. She's toilet trained (grass), can walk off leash (responds to your calls when walking), basic commands like sit and shake hand, friendly, people oriented (won the hearts of the kopitiam uncles!), good temperament, still playful (will run when you call, follow you around, play with other dogs), aging dog though. Beautiful rich golden brown coat. Nails are short. Hv not brought to vet. Health seems ok upon visual inspection.

Dog has been placed at SPCA this morning (6/6/11). SPCA will hold her for Two days before deciding whether to put her to sleep or set up for adoption. I personally think the former is more possible. She cried/whimpered when I left her at SPCA this morning.

Health: Tick problem due to owner negligence but I have applied frontline and will send for grooming to shave fur and remove ticks once new owner is found. No other issues that I know of. But best to send to the vet for a checkup.

Vaccines: No idea on this. Most probably had her initial 3 done as a puppy but not the yearly ones after.

Microchipped: No idea on this.

Temperament:
1. Very very friendly, gentle and lovable dog
2. Loves being cuddled and stroked
3. Perfectly fine with other dogs
4. Never barks
5. Knows simple tricks like sit, stay, paw etc

Excretion manners: Pees and poops during walks.

Description : Male, small to medium size local cross that looks a bit like a miniature doberman but has a curly tail, unique short coat that is dark grey. Not sterlised as yet.

Health : Vaccination in progress, very healthy and growing well. Will be sterilised by the end of the year.

Others: He is trained to walk on the leash, and understands basic commands. He is toilet trained to do his business outdoors.

Temperament : he is very stable and affectionate towards humans. We will assist to guide whoever adopts him to settle him in his new home.

Some background:
My neighbours found him at a coffee shop in Sembawang park area and he followed them back. We took him in and foster him since June this year. He is estimated by the vet to be about 7-8mths old.

We already have 5 dogs at home and space is limited. There are no adoption fees but pls be genuine and must take care of Rocky as he is really special.

Sent her for abortion as the (two) pups were most likely X with mongrels as JRTs usually have 4-10pups. Vet estimated her to be around 5yo, could be younger if she has been a stray for a period of time.

ADOPT: PinPin + PongPong - friendly, obedient rescued singapore specials

PinPin is a 4-5 month old female local pup and PongPong is her brother; also a 4-5 month old pup. Both have mild temperament. They are not toilet-trained yet.

PinPin and PongPong were rescued from Changi. Their mommy gave birth to 8 pups but sadly we only managed to save 2 pups. The rest are either put to slp or hv been adopted.

Both of them are extremely obedient (maybe cos of the trauma they had gone through) and friendly with dogs and humans.

*An ultra-cute note about PongPong is, he snores (softly) when he slps.

The female mongrel (local cross breed dog) is around 3-4 years old and has a very tame temperament. She loves human attention and can be easily handled.

She was wandering on a road with busy traffic and the rescuer suspect that she may be a lost pet dog. She is not street smart and did not know how to look out for vehicles and was in danger of meeting an accident. The poor dog seem to be lost and have nowhere to go to and was following any passer by that walk past her.

The rescuer hope to find her a home though chances are slim as she is not HDB approved.

Adopters need to apply license and microchip the dog, sign an adoption form before adoption and allow the rescuer to visit the dog at the new home after adoption.

LOST: Girl Girl - 6mo female cocker spaniel w red collar, 2 silver bells (wedge mount industrial building, jalan pemimpin/bishan/marymount, 8 may 2011)

Girl Girl, a 5-6 months old cocker spaniel puppy was last seen at Wedge Mount Industrial Building at the Jalan Pemimpin area (near Bishan and Marymount). She She went missing on 8 May 2011. She has glossy black fur and wears a red collar with 2 silver bells. She is an extremely friendly dog.

The owner normally lets Girl Girl run around freely as she is a very friendly dog. He actually suspects that a garang guni man took the dog from him. Apparently what happened was that after Girl Girl went missing, Peter casually asked the garang guni man if he saw the dog. Interestingly, the guy stammered. After that day, he never turned up to collect cardboxes etc from Peter's area (he used to do so everyday). After some checks, Peter found out that the garang guni man stays in the Bishan area.

The owner stays alone and Girl Girl is his only companion. He will offer a reward if Girl Girl is found.

My dog, Rocky, has been missing the whole of Sunday 15th May till now.
According to the security guard opposite of my office, he claimed my dog was knocked down by a car and taken away by the police.

I really do hope to find a adopter soon for my dog (Ewoke), as the main carer (my dad) for my dog dad is currently sick & will be going for an operation soon.

As myself, I am based overseas for work and I can't assist in anyway. My dad will have no choice but to send our dog to SPCA (as he has no means to take care of the dog anymore, especially after the operation)

Due to my dog's old age, I understand that he will be put to sleep due to his old age plus due to a very slim chance of anyone adopting him.

We have been looking for a kind person who will adopt our dog but it seems really hard to find someone. Below are some further details.

12-13years old (we adopt him years ago and was told he was 3/4years old at that time); but he looks younger than his age

Yes (i.e. no 'balls', but I don't have any cert. to prove)

No

(e) Personality/Temperament:
Friendly & innocent dog, only barks at strangers. If you ask him to come to you (e.g. saying "come" or tap on the floor, he will come to you). I tried playing hide & seek with him before and just called his name - "Ewoke", he is able to look for me :)

Able to listen to simple commands like 'sit', 'shake hand' but if not trained with him often, he will tend to forget.

Loves food, eat almost anything you give it to him (not a fussy eater).

He cares for your attention but will not fuss if not given.

(f) Any special needs? (eg. Food allergies, medication etc.)
Need to walk once a day. As he is older now, its preferable to walk him twice.
Preferable to eat vegetables & dry food only to avoid further gum/smell problem, which he is currently facing (due to old age).
Recommended to bath thrice a week.

Has some smell due to ear/gum issues (however, if bath often, it would be ok)

My cat Marigold has been missing since 11 May (Wed). Would appreciate your help in spreading the word. She usually roams around but comes back in the evenings for food. This is the longest she's been gone.

Where she was lost: She was last seen around our neighbourhood (private houses) in the West Coast area.
Gender: Female (has been sterilized)

Size: About half a metre long, she's almost a year old
Colour: White with black patches. Ears are black, paws are white.

Distinct physical or character traits: Bent tail, almost at a right angle. Very affectionate and will roll over for belly rubs (like a dog).

[reunited!] LOST: Pepper - 4yo female chihuahua w apple head, huge eyes (jupiter road, venus park, upper thomson, 9 may 2011)

Pepper, a 4 years old female chihuahua ran out of the gate at Jupiter Road towards venus Park on 9th May 2011 and was missing since.

She has an Apple head with huge eyes. She is timid.
