[rehomed!] FOUND - Shih Tzu (Lim Chu Kang Lane 1)

Hi everyone, while on the way to the grooming school this morning, one of our fellow classmates had found a Shih Tzu girl roaming back and forth along the junction of Lim Chu Kang Road and Neo Tiew Road.

She wears a baby blue collar and had her fur probably DIY-ed by her owner cos they look very uneven (looked like layered). She doesn't look abandoned or abused cos she is well fed and doesn't have any dental or skin problem. She has a bit of ticks problem but we have applied medication for her with regards to that. She is currently being fostered by one of our classmates. She is of mild temperament, very shy, however seems to be a little afraid of humans and dogs. She is not microchipped and probably is around 1-2 years old.

she's a really tough cookie and shows no signs of any health problems despite being trapped in the drain for 3 days without food and shelter before she was rescued.

she is all black, with yellow eyes, has a white patch of fur in a diamond shape at her neck in front, and an arrow on her belly. very cute. very cute, playful, a bit scratchy but loves to sleep with you at night and be close, and when not so hyper is very affectionate.

she is not vaccinated, and we bathe her once a week, no fleas, ticks and really nice long smooth coat. loves to play with shoe lace.

Urgent case as family moving out of property today. The 2 dogs are being left alone in the house and family members come by once/twice a day to feed them.

Jrt is a lil territorial and snaps when u try to discipline him. Not advisable for family with young kid. Training is a must. Barks at stranger v good door watcher. He's very intelligent too like all other jrt, but seriously need a form hand.

After staying for a while he warmed up to me and he became quite attention seeking when I gave my attention to the lab.

Understand that dog is positively abandoned. She was tied near the toilet at the marketplace for many hours before she struggled to free herself.
If owner has left the dog to do some shopping, it won't be for so many hours.

Besides, no one has been asking around regarding a lost dog since so many days. Humphhh ...

Finder has decided to seek fosterer for the days he will be away and when he returns, he will take back the dog and actively look for potential adopters. At least our mind is now set at ease that the dog will NOT be sent to SPCA.

As my husband and I are relocating to a foreign country, we are looking for a good family to adopt our ragdoll cat.

Breed: Ragdoll

Age: 6 years old

Gender: female (neutered)

Health condition: in very good health

Temperament: Very tame, she never scratches people intentionally and loves to follow owner around the house. She waits for you at the door when you come home, and loves to be brushed and touched but gets impatient if held for too long. She does not scratch furniture if you give her a scratch poll (which we will provide for free). She is particular about the cleanliness of her litter, and may poo outside of her litter (she prefers the outdoors) if it is not cleaned regularly. If you have an enclosed garden (i.e. the cat cannot get out from your garden) you may not even need a litter tray in the house.

Important Note: As with all other ragdoll cats, because of their tame and sweet nature, they can only be kept as a house cat (can be allowed to roam around the garden only if the garden is completely enclosed so the cat cannot get out). They won’t be able to survive outside for long as they don’t know how to use their claws to defend themselves.

We will also provide free litter trays, food bowls and some supplies for free.

Requirements for a new owner – if you:

1. are financially stable and do not foresee that you will move abroad any time soon;

2. and all your family members love cats and agree to have one;

3. agree to feed good quality cat food (our cat only needs dry cat food, it’s not expensive) and take her to see a vet when she is sick;

4. agree to keep her only as an indoor pet;

5. allow us to visit your home once or twice with a prior appointment to check on the cat after adoption (just to make sure she is fine)

[rehomed!] Another golden retriever for urgent adoption

Golden, a male 2 yrs old GR, spent his early part of his life caged up at a factory. Because of this, his hind leg is crocked and weaker than the rest of his legs. He walks with a limp.

He was adopted by a family about 6 months ago. When i last visited him, he was happy and his hind leg is stronger now. I was so happy for him that he has found a forever home.

Unfortunately, fate dealt him a heavy blow. We were told yesterday that the family could not keep him as they are downgrading.

He was supposed to be returned to us today but a kind lady, friend of the owner, managed to get him to board at a pet shop for a week. She could not bear to see him being at the shelter. She was worried that he will be devastated. This gives us sometime to look for a fosterer. I know this will be challenging as CNY is round the corner. I really don't want to see him tossed out like a piece of rubbish.

Tiger, the Chihuahua from Tampines, which was lost yesterday was found on the same night, thanks to her fast reaction. She put the posters around the block. The dog ended up on a neighbour's house one floor away. The neighbour spotted the poster and called the owner.

Hi,

We have found a male silky terrier wandering around Bedok Reservoir begging people for food at the coffee shop. He is wearing a name tag with the name Mafia on it and a phone number. Tried calling that number but there was no answer.

He knows the basic commands like Sit, Give paw and down.. I would upload his pictures but I am having trouble doing so.
