ADOPT: badly neglected 8yo male jrt
A happy and active 8yr old JRT was sent to be put to sleep by its owner. He has been badly neglected over the years, and the simplest way to get rid of a life time committment to caring for him was to send him to the vet to be put to sleep.
He was rescued in time and we are now looking for an adopter to offer him TLC for his remaining years. If you are unable to adopt, we hope you can foster him meanwhile for his skin condition to improve which will also buy him time to look for a new home.
Breed: JRT
Age: About 8yrs old
Temperament: Happy and loves humans. Barks at times when no one is around.
Sterilized: Not yet
Other info: Has skin infection and will likely need medication for a period of time. He has also developed a lump on his hind leg which can be removed with a surgery
If you are able to help this little one, please email hammie1003@gmail.com immediately. We will share more about his medical condition that can get better with a home filled with love and care. Please help spread the word for this helpless one.
Many thanks!

Animal's name: Dempsey

Health condition: In very good condition

Why is it being put up for fostering/adoption: He is too playful for our other three cats and this is causing friction between them.

ADOPT: "Bugsy", a brave and strong kitten, and her siblings are looking for good homes
(From top: Bugsy, Bambi, White Socks)
Hi everyone, I guess my protruding eyes got me my name (for now). I am 1mth old and amongst a litter of 7 born in factory. The environment wasnt all that pleasant and clean, especially for little ones like us. I came down with a really bad eye infection and could have gone totally blind if I remained at the premise.
I was sent to the vet the next day and am now on oral medication as well as antibiotic eyedrops. The vet said I could lose vision on one eye .. I even heard the words "put to sleep" in the consult room!
Thank goodness my rescuer was firm and told the vet I should be given a second chance :) After about a week of medication, I am healing well and my left eye could actually shut! My fosterer loves me to bits.
I would need medication for another 3 weeks whereby I would need a vet visit to assess my condition again.
I am appealing to good adopters out there who can give me and my other siblings a forever home .. a place that we can feel safe and loved for the rest of our lives. My siblings too had eye infection but nothing close to mine, and they are almost completely healed.
Please email: hammie1003@gmail.com or sms 9747 1339 for more details
about me and my siblings.
Big hugs from 7 of us!!

This sweet female Labrador is up fo adoption!
Rescued by angels from a breeding farm where she's cooped up her whole life, she has amazingly retained her sweet nature n has learnt commands like Sit, Down n Paw.
Despite living in horrendous conditions before, checkups at the vet has declared her a clean bill of health, albeit a little underweight which with time and better nutrition now will definitely see her putting on the pounds again.
Pls email me at libslaver@yahoo.com.sg with your name, contact, age n experience with dogs (if any) if you're interested in giving her a forever home.

ADOPT: Dashing n Docile Donut (puppy injured in hit n run)
Posting on Behalf of group of Rescuers.
Dashing n Docile Donut
Donut was injured in a hit and run accident a couple of months ago near a supermarket in the East. A kindly couple were on their way home and heard the sudden screams of a puppy and quickly turned their car around to find out what happened.
They noted a motorcyclist picking up his vehicle but when they got to the spot, motorist had rode off. They looked for the puppy that hobbled away with his mum and found him cowering and whimpering in pain near some bushes.
My friend then quickly sent the puppy she named Donut, to a vet. X-ray confirmed Donut suffered a broken hip. Donut was hospitalized for a week during which the vet and assistants carefully carried him out to grass patch to get his biz done. Since then he loved being carried and cuddled. He has since recovered well and has been in boarding after discharge from hospital.
He gets along with the other cats and dogs at the boarding place and also likes to jump on sofa to cuddle up with humans. His legs are rather long so may be a slightly bigger breed. We are not sure if he is HDB approved so we are hoping for a private home for him, just to be sure of his safety and future as we wish for him to be licenced and legal.
He is a very smart dog and he knew almost immediately how to use the toilet so we suspect he and his mum were recently dumped. Unfortunately we couldn't locate Donut's mother the day after Donut was rescued.
Please give Donut a chance at a new family, a chance to finally cuddle in his own bed or on your lap, carried and stroked as this is what he wants more than anything in his little world. It was not by chance that he was rescued when he was hence we know he was meant to be loved and owned. His fate had been decided by a cowardly man who had ran off after hitting him, yet it was God's plan that he be rescued in the nick of time by kindness of the couple. We know God has a destiny for Donut for His timing is always perfect.
Donut is approximately 5 to 6 months and is not sterilised yet. We will have him sterilised before he goes to an adopter.
We will leave the adoption fee to the adopter to decide. Reimbursement for sterilisation is appreciated.
Please SMS 94508690 if you wish to view Donut.

ADOPT: Cat Jellybean A.K.A lil precious
Would you like a cat that prance for joy when you are home, hop like a little lamb when its meal time (especially if its chicken breast), find your lost pair of socks, or gives you a little nudge on your hand when you are feeling a bit down, or sit with you when you just want some quiet time? Look no further! Here's Jellybean or a.k.a lil precious, cat sleuth, cat extraordinaire, and a real sweetheart.
Jellybean was only the length of two palms when I found her hiding under the dustbin, looking for food but not fearful! She came when I called, so hungry and so skinny. But slowly and surely she blossom until she was cruelly thrown far away from her home base and left to fend for herself. I found her after a week, alone, waiting for her human to come get her. Now she's here, healthy and waiting for a family to call her own. I would love to keep her but already have eight cats at home.
She's a kitty that will brighten up your days, keep you company when you are alone, and make you laugh with her silly antics and her funny hops. She doesn't deserve to be left out in the streets and is waiting for a good kind family to be her's forever. Jellybean's is sterelised, de-wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated.
If you are interested to adopt Jellybean a.k.a lil precious, please email offtofeedthecats@gmail.com or contact 91763551 for swift reply. Thank you.

ADOPT: Robby + Dolque - brother/sister mongrels
My friend and I found 2 abandoned dogs (siblings) and are desperate in looking for good homes for them. I believe they are cross breed mongrels. I can't keep them as I am a muslim and my friend lives in Hdb flat.
History: Robby - tied up daily in the sun/rain & immobile. Dolque - trapped in an AVA cage by a Resident & without food before being taken away. Both were TRAUMATIZED! Needless to say, they were under-nourished and needing attention. For the last 2 years, they have been lodging in The Pet Hotel in Pasir Ris.
This is not the best solution for everyone because Robby is a fun, loving, happy character, and he would put a smile on anyone’s face, if given a chance. He understands simple commands and is simply a happy boy. Dolque (pronounced Dol- kee) is a sweet quiet girl, a contented observer. She has the prettiest light brown eyes that will either melt your heart or speak to your soul. Robby and Dolque belong in a home where there is love and connection. Being caged up is not a solution. These siblings URGENTLY need a good & loving home to live in Otherwise they will be homeless!
Please consider giving them a home if you have the heart, the love, the space, the resources. If it is not feasible for you, please help to forward this to friends who would give them a loving home or donate towards their monthly lodging.
You may call my friend Diana for more info on mobile at 96312616

Cat participants needed for Ngee Ann Poly Vet Bioscience FYP
Dear Sir/ Madam,
We are third year Veterinary Bioscience students from the School of Life Sciences and Chemical Technology, NgeeAnn Polytechnic. We are working on our final year project: Sero-prevalence of Toxoplasma gondii, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) in stray and household cats in Singapore.
Our 7-month-long research project will require us to collect data from at least 50 cats. This project will determine the sero-prevalence of these viruses (FIV and FeLV) and Toxoplasmosis in cats using ELISA and the correlation between infection and different factors such as age, sex, environment, health status, clinical and laboratory findings.
Please render your support in our project by informing your clients who own cats to participate in the study. They will be required to complete a questionnaire which comprises of a short series of questions regarding the age, sex, environment, lifestyle and the health status of the cats. A 3ml of blood will be collected either via cephalic, saphenous, and jugular venipuncture. We have been properly trained in blood collection by our project supervisor, Dr Rio E. Ridad, DVM (6460-6640). The blood samples will be tested using ELISA for Toxoplasma gondii antibodies, FIV antibodies and FeLV antigens in our school’s laboratory. The tests are conducted free-of-charge and the results will be reported upon request.
You can contact us at 93829182(Buvan)/96661056 (Zi Hui)/ 85229621 (Bernice)/97855102 (Yeung Ling) or at projectfelineviruses@gmail.com. Thank you and we look forward to your participation in our study.

[rehomed!] ADOPT: Loving Lady - calm, affectionate, independent female local cross
Hey! My name is Lady... yes, just like that elegant cocker spaniel in that movie, Lady and the Tramp.
The truth, however, is... I’m no pure bred pooch like the Lady you watched in the cinema. I was one of four puppies found along Lorong Halus, near where the shelter is located. Though I was christened “Lady”, deep down, I know I’m more a “Tramp” than a Lady.
Like “Tramp” in the movie, I yearn for my happily ever after. They say black dogs get the least love. As Fate would have it, my coat is completely black. I need humans to look past my exterior and colour to discover the softness of my fur and the sparkle in my eye.
Amongst the four of us, I’m the leader of the pack. I am also a donor dog because of my rare blood type. I’ve made a few donations which have exhausted me. The humans are very wary and protective over the potential for abuse that this presents.
If you want a gentle and calm companion, please do think of me and help put that “happily” in my happily ever after.

Lady's home stay has ended beautifully. She is now part of a family of four, including a cat :) she is wonderfully graceful and definitely a lady with a slimmer fitter build and softer coal than before. Thanks to her family who showered her with love :) GPF wishes the family happiness ever after. Love love lady.
